did you flash from a computer? if so look in the recycle bin for the rom to find out witch it was.

You can't get into bootloader at all? What are you doing to get there?

Yes I did use my pc to flash the Rom. Unfortunatly it's not in the recycle bin any more... I'm not a ppc guru but I find it weird that there is no power to the Device after a rom flash. Anyways to get into bootloader mood I have tried the following. 1- volume down, power end call and power. 2- volume down end call and reset. Also tried it both ways with answer call instead of end call but still nothing. Still won't power on.. Help pls... I need it bad.. I'm trying to research and still nothing

If you can't get to the bootloader, this device is probably bricked. Exchange it for a non-bricked device.

i think my tp2 is toast but i never bricked a phone or seen one before this, with that being said when a phone is bricked does it ever go back to bootloader somehow and two if it is bricked shouldn't there be power to the device anyways. thanks for your help guys

^^WHOA slow down Mackie. I do NOT think his phone is bricked, especially considering how many people have made this mistake before him.

Anyways, power the phone off completly, hold vol down and power, see if anything happens.

ok here's the deal....im goin to try buying a new battery because there is no power to the phone at all...it wont turn on at all, it wont even hold a charge...charged it overnight and the light is still amber. The light goes off periodically and then back on but thats only when its connected to a power source (Pc, wall charger). the phone was working fine before i toast it.

If your phone is from sprint call them right away and add insurance on the phone. They'll exchange it for you at any sprint store.

Re: potential brick...flashed gsm rom instead of cdma...need help plz

im not in a contract with sprint. I bought the phone from a friend that is not in a contract with sprint anymore so i cant take it there and HTC wont fix it for free if a custom rom is installed cause that voids the one year warranty.

do what the guy says. add sprint insurance. they don't care where you got it from. i've insured 3 phones from ebay. they won't say anything. once you have insurance, take it into a sprint store without a repair center and get a new phone.

I didn't notice your carrier was t-mobile. I'm sorry but there is nothing you can do. I was in the same situation as your a few months ago but I had sprint so they replaced my phone instantly. Since you have a Sprint phone, T-mobile insurance will not cover your phone even if you purchased insurance.

try this....pull battery wait a few minutes. Now place battery back in. press volume down + power as well as press hard buttons answer and end..hold till phone boots. see if you get message about hard resetting...If you do flash via sd..cause it will go to boot loader automatically in preparation for hard reset...if it does it will pull rom from sd if on it..report back..

if he goes to http://asurion.com/

ok i did that and held all buttons like you said for about 10 mins and nothing happened. i dont think it should take that long for it to go to bootloader but im goin to the store now to get a replacement battery so im goin to try it again with the new battery and report back.

seems to me it isnt the battery cause it should function on the power from the charger
