What to get instead of the TP2?
 

I have the TP2, its refurbished and a peice of sh*t. I want to switch to a different phone but i love the layout of the TP (more than the TP2) is there any phone sprint will switch me for that is equally, or almost as good (and will work unlike these garbage phones)? I also want the slide out keyboard. Thanks!

You got a lemon. Many people here have the TP2 and have had great results. I'm one of them.

I'm another one of them ;) how about getting sprint to replace it for another tp2? I love my TP2... great screen :) miss my diamond/tp at times though... :(

Im in the same boat. Ive had 3 refurbished touch pro 2's as replacements for my original VZW TP2 that are said to be "like new". well they aren't and it gets really old changing phones every month because the $500 phone you thought would be amazing is crap.

Define crap. The only solution to devices that are crap is to rtfm. More specific problems can be addressed more specifically.

I currently have a palm pre, samsung moment, and touch pro 2, and have used many others and all os's. currently nothing is better than the tp2. I have my own rom with no sprint stuff on it except for navigation running on it.On stock rom it runs decently, it is probably just that specific phone you have, get it replaced for another tp2 under insurance, my first one had screen issues, this one is just fine and works great.

Crap=

3 replacements since October
1 phone with defective microphone
1 phone with oil under screen issue
1 phone with at least 5 dead pixels

My first tp2 had bad dead pixels all over and glared out light from the sides and bottom but couldnt see anywhere that it may have not been completely flush. But if you are truly unhappy, summer is almost here in 4 months, I will actually be upgrading my tp2 in the summer to something else and another line is upgradable in september, but nothing is out right now that I personally would want to completly replace the tp2 with as my main personal line. If you cant stand the phone that much, just replace it then either with warranty or something completly different. The moment is not that bad, just not fond of android 1.5, you could upgrade to that, but I honestly would then suggest waiting till Sprint supplies the 2.1 upgrade, or just wait till a better phone than anything out right now comes in the summer to sprint and verizon, both are suppose to be getting 1ghz cpu devices.

ah sorry, i had to. tp2 is a great phone, had mine since it was released. sounds like you are havin bad luck. if you like android someone else mentioned the moment, which is a good phone as well...or so i have heard. but honestly demand a new tp2, not a referb. it'll be worth it
