Cant pair with PC via bluetooth, can see it but cant pair
 

worked fine before, now it doesnt
doesnt matter if i initiate from phone or from pc
3 different roms, none will pair now
win7 latest widdcomm

before when you pair it would show a code on both the pc and phone
and it would ask if its the same, hit yes on both and done.

now from the phone it says
"an error occurred during the pairing process"

from pc it says
"adding this device failed because of an authentication error.
this might be due to the use of an incorrect pairing code
blah blah blah"

both devices are discoverable

i have removed all previous devices from bluetooth devices on the pc
worked fine before with several roms

hard reset the phone

both pc and phone can pair with my stereo bluetooth headset

same issue win winmo 6.5 and 6.5.5
wont work with roms it worked with before

so pretty much i tried everything i could think of

EDIT: bout to flash to stock and see what happens

Exact same problem trying to connect my TP2 to a HP Mini.

I had that problem with my work laptop quite a few times, does your computer give you a pass code to input into your phone? I just paired my TP2 to the laptop and it gave me one to add to the cell, I am just curious if yours has as well.

Edit: Had to re-read the thread, my mistake. I know with the 6.5 roms (I am currently on Formula84's rom ATM) it doesn't ask if they match, you have to manually enter it. You could flash his rom and see if that fixes it.

I have no problems, though I'm using stock widcom & 6.1. I've been successful with Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate.

i flashed to stock yesturday, didnt work
actually now i cant even turn my bluetooth on with mightyrom impact
bout to flash to stock again and try it after my phone charges

before i was pairing fine on the same pc, there have been no changes to the pc

what it did with stock and some 6.5 roms is it would display a passcode on the pc and on the phone, and just asked to confirm that they are the same.

maybe my bluetooth is gone, if it doesnt work with stock now, im going to try to exchange it tomorrow

can i lock my phone back to how it was stock or no
doubt they would look into it, but still curious

EDIT: just paired with stock rom
about to try medium hills

guess ill never know what the problem was

I'm having the exact same problem... only i'm running NRGZ rom (tried several rom versions to make sure it wasn't the rom) and i'm trying to connect to my dodge nitro's uconnect system. any one have an answer for this? i tried going back to stock and everything. i even do the whole task 29 before flashing. thanks.

Try this:

Disable TouchFlo3d/Sense and then soft reset.
Install this cab:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...mbt_hotfix.zip

Then wait a min and then soft reset.
Then enable TF3d/Sense and try again.
