Answered! Sort of..."Force landscape regardless of orientation????"

Searched, but can only seem to find stuff that allows the ui to move regardless of the keyboard being open or not.

What I want to do is force landscape at all times...... its for a landscape only theme that im making for WAD2.

Any help would certainly gain my appreciation and thanks.:thumbleft:

Re: Anyone know how to force landscape regardless of orientation????

There's an option in settings/screen which allows you to choose the orientation. However, it always defaults to portrait when closing/sliding the keyboard back to its closed position. Maybe, you could find a registry setting which allows for it to default to landscape instead. Good luck.

Re: Anyone know how to force landscape regardless of orientation????

So after a few hrs of tampering/drinking (:occasion5:) I found a program on the internet called "Change Screen" by "iDevelopeStuff"??

Anyways... this works great but doesn't stop my phone from still flipping to portrait mode for about 2 seconds when I close my keyboard....

Again, i searched for a registry edit here in the TP2 forums but results came up negative.

So......... does anyone know of a registry edit that disables my keyboard from telling windows mobile to change back to portrait mode after closing it.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! Again greatly appreciated.

When I had a Mogul I was searching for a way to do this as well. Along my journey I learned that this was possible on older versions of windows, but 6+ will always revert to portrait mode. If you find a way around this PLEASE let me know, but I'm pretty sure it's undoable.
