way to make autodim dimmer???
 

i have been looking for a way to dim the screen more with auto-dim on, it seems way to bright in a dark room or car, yet if i disable auto-dim it is to dark when i wake in the morning or turn on a light. any cab that will drop auto dim's low level down a few notches?

Had this same issue myself. Couldn't find a way to change the auto adjust so I just go back and forth between the two now depending on how much light I need. This little script works perfectly:

Look for "Lumos". Its a program that adjusts the backlight in various light conditions. It is very useful for battery and such.
