Not being able to remove an existing app from a cooked ROM is to be expected.
Normally an upgrade is possible, but the 1.1 app is not an official release; it was reverse engineered from a non-touchscreen version. So, it may have a different structure.
What errors / messages do you get when you try to install 1.1? |
