Documents Tab - SD card is full or missing
 

I'm running the latest Energy ROM (02.16.2010), standard (ie, no MM or Cookie) 23xx.

Documents explorer was working fine at first but now is just says the Storage Card is missing or full. As it is neither (file explorer finds it just fine) does anyone know what may be happening?

This was a big reason for me to go to the latest ROM so I'd really like to get it working again....](*,)

Hi!

I'm getting this same message on an Acer S200; not sure why
(it worked fine on earlier ROM versions).
But it also seems quite a rare problem, and is perhaps not a problem in the ROM?

I'm using a 8 GB SDHC card; and it reads fine elsewhere (File Explorer, CAB install, music player).

Update...though I had the SD formatted to FAT32, I pulled all my files off it and reformatted it to FAT32 again. All's well and the doc explorer is working perfectly.

What is the block size you used?
I have an 8GB card, and reformatted (it was Fat32 even before) using "default block size" and the problem is still not fixed.

Other than the block size, I can't think what could be causing the problems - is it some particular system file that is being restored from the backup?

I'm pretty sure I did "Default" for everything. If you have another SD card, try that as that is how I diecovered mine was messed up in the first place.

Other SD Card (2GB) worked fine.
In the end I formatted again, and it worked - but this time I took care to not restore some hidden files from before, and maybe that was the difference.
(i.e. I don't know if the card needs to be FAT32, but maybe system files created from an older ROM don't take too kindly to the new ROM (with reader) and maybe that's the reason for the error)

same happening to me.. using EnergyROM from 22.fev.10 on HTC HD2

I think it is something in Application Data folder
I switched to another ROM, and back, and the error message came back
I renamed the Application Data folder, and it started working again (and the folder was recreated). I'm not sure what settings you will lose by doing this - the test would be to start copying files to the new folder 1 by 1 and see what causes the problem!

Maybe something we're adding via .cab...though I haven't had the issue since I reformatted and I have hard resetted a few times.
