possible Bluetooth fix

2 Attachment(s)
So the problem I was having was when I originally got my TP2 with winmo6.1, it was a disaster in my BMW. It would not hang up, the phone would lag, etc...

When I upgraded to mighty's 6.5, the bluetooth worked perfect but it would eat a lot of battery.

So I used the bluetooth fix provided by Mrmediaguy (thank you) in mighty's post. This caused me to have the same problems as what I had with the winmo 6.1. So I found a CAB on AVIC411.com, credit to DOOGIE (thank you). It let me use the cab from mrmediaguy to save battery life but made the BT work perfect...

If you are having problems try it, it worked wonders for me...

Does the BT fix you posted work for stock 6.1?

It should since it's still the same stack. Try it out, if it doesn't just uninstall. =]

Whicj of the 2 files listed in the OP do I use? Or do I use both to resolve this issue?

I'm having the same issues with my TP2 using a Motorola T605.

Re: possible Bluetooth fix

the sprint file is a zip and contains a .dll file called serial_btur_dm.dll which is the file that comes on sprint tp2 out of the box from what i understand. so if you never upgraded to a custom 6.5 rom, you should already have this file. if not, unzip this file and copy it to your windows directory using resco explorer or total commander. please be careful since once you over write this file and soft reset you will not be able to change back, so you might want to back up before you do this. my suggestion is to try the avic cab first with your current version of the serial_btur_dm.dll since you can always uninstall the cab. play around with it until it works for you, if it ever does :)

Not working on my Sprint TP2 with stock ROM (6.1)

I installed the AVIC cab and soft reset. Is there something I'm missing here?

Did you use just the AVIC cab, or both the AVIC and .dll?
