Volume Control no longer working

My volume UP and DOWN do not work anymore

Is there a certain cab I might have installed that did this? Is there a fix? Am I the only one that is having this problem? Can someone please help?

EDIT: I fixed it. I replaced some files in the windows folder and it started working
