Well the tp2 dropped in price on ALL websites today.sprints website and accenture and all the rest.

I bought one for 199$ back a week before christmas.

talked to a account services manager and told her i bought the tp2 before Chirstmas which was about 2 months ago not quite 60 days.

I then told her that the phone is 50$ cheaper today then it was then and what could she do.

She said they do not have control over the prices have no idea when the prices will change and once it is past 30 days they do not do anything.

But she said as a 1 time credit she would give me a 25$ credit to my account.

Not bad for a 7 minute phone call.


So if you bought one off a website in the last 60 days or so call up does not hurt to try and save.I did not get the 50$ i was looking for but 25$ is 25$

IIRC, I paid $149 for my Verizon TP2 the day they became available last year.

Well i got my sprint touch pro 2 now for 74$ since i got a service credit for the price change.If you got a touch pro 2 and sprint and have not had it long call up.It dropped 50$ on every place they have it for sale.

Yah it does not matter what you paid for it just call them and tell them it is 50$ cheaper now.It is 50$ cheaper on there site accenture citi and all the company websites.I should have held out for 50$ but hey 25$ for a few min call ill take it since it has been about 60 days now since i got it.So total cost on this one now stands at 74$ after mail in rebate which came.

Not bad not as good as my 2 free ones back when they came out but hey it is a good deal and worth your effort to try.Just give the standard response."I heard other people got it" works a lot :)

I just bought one for wife on FRI!!! (I have one) How the he77 did you get it for $199? I was pissed when I read your post, but then called sprint while reading.

Sprint premier care lady just put in a credit for $xxx that has to be approved by her mgr team, which takes 2-3 days, BUT she was VERY confident she would get it & she will call me back! Why more than $50 I have no idea, BUT... I wasn't going to argue! I'll take no less than $50 otherwise I have 30 days to cancel everything & will buy it all again.

Details coming if/when I get my discount. (a tad noid of Sprint thread peepers)

Sounds good guys, not really trying to brag, but I got mine and wifes TP2's for $20 each when they first came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sprint had me send back our Touch Pro's and they credited us for the full amount for the Touch Pro's and only left us with a balance of $40!!!!!!

I bought my phone at a Sprint store on 1/2, which is over the 30 days. I called *2 and was shot down by the CSR. I was very polite (and even a bit chatty) and asked if there might be a chance her supervisor or manager could offer me credit. She said she'd be happy to check, put me on hold, came back with a few questions, put me hold again, then credited my account with $50. Bata-bing. Bata-boom.

Oh, and I had previously negotiated $100 credit over 2 months as a "price match" (well, almost) with Verizon. :D

I'm on Sprint SERO, BTW.
