Best free program for soft resets??
Getting tired of peeling off the back cover every dayto second day to restore my data connection.
Especially now that I have a Boxwave case on it now. What is the best free solution for soft resetting? |

I also drilled a tiny hole in the back cover (& my Seidio Innocase) to allow me to push the reset button without removing the cover (it looks like it came that way) ~John |

I was considering pulling out my dremel but now I would have to drill two holes all lined up. WhyHTC ever designed it that way I will never know...especially with their years of design experience. Why drill if you can use software? I guess if it totally freezes but I haven't actually had that issue. |

Re: Best free program for soft resets??
I use Rhodium Keyboard Controller 1.3.2. Not 1.4, because that has some problems. I have it set so that on long press of my 'back' key (button I use the least) it soft resets. Very handy when on the run and need to soft reset. I used to use the software based programs, but then I'd have to navigate to programs and click it. With this, once the screen is on I just press it. Don't have to close any apps or anything. I don't even look at my phone, because I feel the vibration and know I'm set. Link below:

I'm a little confused.
Can't you just turn your phone off then back on to perform a soft reboot? |
