Help - In Call Volume Tweak (Lower the sound)?

According to THIS POST we can tweak the audiopara3.csv file in the column: rxVolume to reduce the volume of the earpiece.

The author said he found effectiveness "halving" the hex values on the 12 PHONE_EARCUPLE_VOL fields.
I don't know how to interpret HEX values which is what it has been encoded in to change it.

Can some1 help as the SPCS TP2 earpiece is painfully loud & the volume rocker doesn't provide any useful help.

Re: Help - In Call Volume Tweak (Lower the sound)?

I've got the same problem with a pair of IEM headphones. Too loud with headpones in calls.

Great if someone found a fix. Also, you guys with wired microphoned earphones, do you know if there is there a way to have the earphones announce the caller and have the speaker ring?

Thanks

Alright boyz and gals....I dont have a nice easy cab to install but I can definitely lower some sound around this piece. First you will need a regedit tool. If you dont have one....well you can find one here on this site somewhere.....so here we go
HKCU-CONTROL PANEL-SOUND CATEGORIES-Here are all the ones that affect the overall sound of your phone...BT and all
Incall
Incall2
Incall3
Ring
what you are looking for is the InitVol in all of these settings. lower or higher them to your likings. Hope that helps.

Re: Help - In Call Volume Tweak (Lower the sound)?

Using [03-05-10] MR.X Sense 2.5_2012 [Build 21889.5.0.87]. And yaaa, I auto-installed audiopara3.csv.cab for back in the day when I had the TP and the speakerphone was too quiet.

Thanks for your responses

Oh okay. So have you tried the sound without the audiopar?? Maybe that would be a little better for you. I personally am running his ROM and have that cab installed and it is great for me. I just turn it down if it is too loud. So maybe you just resolved your own issue. uninstalling audiopar might fix you right on up.
