no external speaker / or ring
 

i've searched to c if there has been a similar problem, but i have found none. i got a lame headphone icon on my top bar even though i have no headphones plugged in. bluetooth is off ... checked advanced settings ... three soft resets ... no mods for at least two months now, but i'm not able to get external speaker to work for anything. ... ?


u guys got any ideas?
sorry to bug. as you can c, i've been a member for a long time and i never try to ask questions ... i've always been able to find my help through search. but this one has got me stump'd

do you plug in and remove the headphones alot? ive heard of the jacks going bad and jacking up the external speaker. ill look for the thread.

same problem here. i think they got the phone replaced for free as a factory defect.
