RAM Question (help needed)

:disgust: I've noticed that my ram has been sitting at 66-79 percent on a regular bases. No programs are running and I've been using Htc htcaddicts_clean Ram. Should my ram usage percentage be this high? How do i get it to lower?

Running stock Rom

WM6.1 or WM6.5 ???

For either - if you do not use Push Internet (you probably don't) install No Push Internet (will lower it).

For 6.1, disabling the ResProxy helps a LOT. You can try for 6.5 but for most it doesn't stick...windows defaults it back.

cabs attached for these - not my work so credit to the creators.

Also make sure you are closing your programs...click the task manager (top right corner of screen) and make sure you are closing things after you use them.

Another one is get a task manager (like dotFred's Task Manager), go to Services and right click on junk and set it to manual (like CM Guardian in particular).

When I was using WM6.1 I was usually around 47% on boot and 50-55% afterwards (of course higher when apps were running).

On 6.5 I am usually around 55-60%.

If this helps, click the Thanks button!

What else would be considered junk within the services tab?

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2 (Sprint): Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

with that task manager, when you refer to the service tab u lose me after that .. i honestly have no idea how to use this yet quite a few ppl recommend to DL it & on dotfred.net it explains some stuff but not in depth
