Zagg Invisible Shield

So my invisible shield has finally been delivered to me from zagg and I put it on my phone yesterday. I was disappointed to find out that it is ever so slightly too short. The edges all around are easily visible on the screen and it is not a perfect fit. I believe zagg has not mastered the cut for this particular shield since all the others I have used (touch pro, ipod touch, palm pre) were an exact fit. All in all the fitting is not that big of a deal but it is still noticeable and the screen protector that came with the phone was a much better fit. I have also noticed that this screen protector kind of interferes with the touch screens sensitivity. I have to touch things a little bit harder in order for the phone to respond. maybe I need to let it break in for a little longer but so far I am not impressed with this overpriced protector. (I have been very impressed with the invisible shields for my past devices).

That being said, what type of screen protectors is everybody else using, if at all?

I also have a Zagg, and mine is also short. I even had to get mine swapped out, since I had to get a new TP2. And the replacement shield was short also. This is the first time i have used them, and am a bit disappointed. The back fits perfectly though. Also I don't have any issues with the touchscreen, where I have to press harder like the OP reported.

I've tried both the Zagg and the Ghost Armor protectors on my verizon TP2. Both are slightly short.

im using gadget guard and really like it. only have one problem with it and i freely admit its from user error. the touch screen feel is closest ive felt to naked.

there was a thread a few weeks ago, lots of people shared their opinions on various tp2 skins http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=108183

phantom skinz is what i use & its great. its not a 100% perfect fit but its not that big of a deal .. im pleased with this product & highly recommend it .. now not the entire skin as i only use screen protector but . .

I bought a 3-pack from ebay, and it fits my Sprint TP2 great, and were cut right to the edge.

here is the vendor I got them from.

d'oh...just realized you wanted a whole phone protector, and not just a screen protector. sorry.

Those ebay ones are terrible too btw... they scratch just from the surface of your thumb.

maybe I have really soft nails then...
but yes, I'm sure they are more prone to scratching than some of the more expensive ones, but they keep the screen free of blemishes, and at a buck and a half apiece, who cares?

is there another anti fingerprint screen protector besides SGP Steinheil?

the shipping kills it.

Agree on the shipping, but it's worth it IMO.

I got Phantom Skins. It's just a tad short but it's really great. The Back goes on seamlessly while the front(not including the screen) takes a little work. When it's on it gives the TP2 a very good look to it. The back cover looks like metallic paint because it makes it sparkle. It's an all around nice skin.

What is this SGP Steinhall you guys speak of? How is the touch screen responsiveness with it? Does it have the sticky rough feeling like the invisible shield has?
Thanks

Those are much better quality than the zagg cr@p & don't affect the screen sensitivity like the zagg either.

I got Zagg from a local mall and it does not seem too bad.For the first week or so it is a little tacky but now i do not feel the difference from it and the stock really. And yes it is a little short but very small.

All in all im ok with it since i have the full body and if it ever comes off while i own the phone i get a replacement free and when the next big thing comes out better then it ill get better money on ebay since it has the full body on it.

So i look long term and as long as i do not lose or break it then im ok and it will pay for itself in use and when i sell it.

Got mine from the ZAGG guy at the Tacoma Mall, he stands behind his work and I have no issues.

Reviews seem to be very positive for the crystal clear version as opposed to the sometimes blurry anti-fingerprint one.(It's also a plus that they send 2 protectors) I think I am going to order the crystal one and replace my invisible shield with it. The zagg invisible shield just feels too rubbery for me and my finger does not glide across it smoothly. We'll see how the crystal clear stenhiel works.

I have used Invisishield and BodyGuardz for my Touch Pros and Invisishield for my TP2 and I agree with the fit issue. I use a rubberized case for the body so the edges are not visible unless you remove it. This time the "mico bubbles" did not go away as they claim. I have applied these several times and never had this issue. I also agree that the sensetivity has lessened but found that it was less than my TP OTB so I forgive it. I will continue to use them simply because it does an excellent job of protecting the front from everyday abuse plus it is a one time fix and no more covers to add but if you try to remove it... Good Luck! Plan on buying a new front screen and/or slider. I read and followed all the instructions from the web and guess what......

Mine fit just great. Had them apply it at the mall on the full body. Don't notice any "short" problems as reported here.
