How's your TP2 BT Working w/UConnect???
 

A question for all you Dodge & Chrysler UConnect owners out there...

How's your TP2 Bluetooth working with you Chrysler/Dodge UConnect?

I have a Sprint TP2. I also have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with UConnect. I know what you're thinking -- what a lucky guy. I affectionately refer to my vehicle as "the chick magnet." Anyhow, I digress...

With the stock 6.1 ROM, I could pair with UConnect.
However, I have not been able to pair with UConnect using any of the 6.5 or 6.5.x cooked ROMs I've tried.

I searched the forums and it seems some others have reported problems as well on the newer ROMs, and I haven't seen a lot of solutions :(

Please post your experience. Does your TP2 work? Not work? Pls also post your ROM version and any tweaks/hacks related to BT.

Running Mighty Rom and have the U-connect at the latest version, I had a little trouble getting it to pair, but once I did it has worked just fine. I had a hard time paring with the stock rom also, harder than Mighty Rom, had to keep trying it over and over.

I'm using a Sprint TP2, Stock, and have factory Uconnect in my 08 Ram Megacab 4x4. It works OK but not as well as it did with my IC902. I've noticed that it takes longer to disconnect or hangup after a call than the previous phone did. I'll wait until I can get the Sprint Rom update as I depend on my phone for work and don't want to risk Bricking it at this point.
I've only had my TP2 for a couple of weeks so far so I'm pretty new to the whole thing.

Both Mighty and "stock" work fine on my 06 Magnum SRT.

For those of you that had difficulty pairing your phone with UConnect, what steps did you take to make it work?

If you're having trouble with bluetooth, try ROMs that include the newer bluetooth stack that comes on the stock VZW and USC 6.5 ROMs

I too am having pairing problems with Sprint TP 2 and UConnect. I am on neodium ROM version 7. Since I have started flashing to all the new WM 6.5 ROM's, I cannot pair up with my '10 Dodge Journey's UConnect. Pairing fails everytime just after entering the passcode. Any suggestions on a fix out there still?????

I have a Dodge Nitro with MyGig and Uconnect and have had no issues with Mighty, Sense, Energy or stock...

try malROM 6.5.3. it has a different stack in it for the bluetooth. my bluetooth actually lets me answer and make calls from it, instead of having to do so on the phone (you know, how BT was made to work!).

Interesting......found the fix. Instead of pairing the phone with the car, I paired the car with my phone (which I didn't even know that you could do)....working just fine now!!!!
