Can you dig it!? A nice post to those who say WM is dying..try doing that on the iPhone! Though it may seem like another GSM only thing? Not quite sure yet |
Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
So let me get this straight... youre hyping up the fact that people are eager to run other OS on wm other than wm? :???:

Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
Great read, I have heard of these projects for some time over at XDA, but BB OS on windows Mobile is news to me, and running all 3 OS's on one device sounds awesome. Im not sure if other OS's or device platforms allow for such a customization as WM and HTC decvices do. Very cool indeed and Im sure as with everything else this proccess will only improve in time. Just imagine when WM 7 arives, plus a snap dragon processor or somthing stronger in the future. This will make it easier for the device to boatload and run 2 or posibly 3 Operating systems besides windows mobile.
Its not that we dont want to run WM, its that it showes how powerfull and versitile Window Mobile OS is. And any device which runs multiple operating systems is a powerhouse of a device. |
Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
WOW! that is incredible.

Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
I would just get another BB instead. They are boring though,so maybe not.

Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
Still no mention of the BB OS version.

Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
I'm sorry, I have to agree. All these phones are capable of other OS's. The catch is windows mobile users are a LOT more likely to work on the project to make it happen. Which you can deduct one of two things from:
1) WM users are far more intelligent and capable at doing complex ports. 2) WM users are THAT deperate to get away from windows. The choice is yours. Maybe somewhere inbetween. |
Re: Blackberry Working on WM!
Well okay, I did hype it a bit, but really like someone pointed out- it's to show the flexbility of the WM OS. I mean, the major players in the mobile world is the iPhone, Android, WebOS, BB and WM.
Meanwhile, our phone can run 3 of the 5, and do you really wanna run the iPhone UI? |
