Camera Picture Limit (999)
Is there a modification to the registry or something that can be done to alleviate this error. I have an 8GB memory card and a large amount of pictures over the years that I have taken with my 6800, touch pro, and now TP2. There is space available for another 6187 pictures. The error I'm getting when trying to take any new pictures is: "Unable to caputre photo. The maximum prefix count (999) has been reached. Please move some files out of the current storage folder." Is there anything other than moving some files I can do? Thanks.

Actually i think I would remove some or all before your SD card bits the dust and you loose all of them. |
Re: Camera Picture Limit (999)
I usually rename to "100_Media" folder to something like "100_Media 1" and the camera creates a new folder and starts over.

From the Touch Flo photos tab hit the album soft key(depending on what version your running 6.1 or 6.5 you might have to select Album again). Once the prefered album is seleccted hit the MENU soft key and select SET ALBUM as Favorite. Now that album or folder becomes your "fav album" and every shot you take goes there. |
