Trouble Installing Calkulins Visual Kitchen
 

So I downloaded Calkuins Vusual WVGA Kitchen and im trying to install the rom, my phone is unlocked and ive done this before.
but im not sure what i need to clickon to get this to load...
i see an romupdateutility and i click on that, i loads up like its working just fine, untill i get past the 2 check mark screens and now it says ERROR 240, update utility cannot open...

anyone know whats up?

this is the 2nd time ive downloaded this to try it out.

Did you build a rom first?

Basically the easy way to do it is to click on "Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen"
Select Option 1 to Build a rom. Pull down the menu for Device to say Touch_Pro2 even though it is already chosen. Choose EXT Build, XIP Build, SYS Build. IF 6.5 make sure you checkbox the Real WM 6.5 AKU or you won't be able to boot the rom just as mentioned on his thread.

Choose the apps you do and don't want in the rom and then save the rom configuration in case you need to build again.

Choose "create rom" and sit back for a bit while it builds.

Afterwards, just wait till the pagepool changer comes up. Change it if you desire and apply the settings.

Then the flashing tool comes up and you're good to go. I built one tonight so I believe the download works just fine.

ok, i click on it, the visual kitchen htc logo... and it opens up the command prompt black box, and then closes... any ideas?

If it closes there's something happening with your computer. It stays open for me on Win 7. Try it on a different computer or Windows OS version if you can to see what's happening. Make sure to unzip the file on the other computer as the folder is quite large unzipped if you transfer via flash drive.
