At midnight while in use the screen turns off
 

Not a big deal but has anyone expirience while on your TP2 at exactly midnight the screen will just turn off??? Like I said, not a big deal but I would just like to know the cause

Mine turns ON at midnight, same with my diamond, not tp1 though.

if i'm using it, it turns off. if it's on the counter, it will light up. i think its the system resetting like the alarms and stuff like that

Do you have G-Alarm installed? On my old i760 I had this same problem and it turned out to be a registry setting in GAlarm that made it turn on at midnight. Cant remember the exact registry entry but do a search for it and maybe turning it off will solve your problem.

I did notice that too. It just dawned on me that it happens at midnight. My screen comes on. No G-alarm for me.

Ageye called it the wm alarm bug or something like that. Apparently it has been fixed. Used to be if your phone went to sleep before midnight, an alarm set prior wouldn't go off the next morning. If the phone stays awake throught the pm/am cycle the alarm will work. Seems like there should be a better way of fixing it though.

I actually do have "G-Alarm" install but being that "worldwide"(posted below you) doesn't have it and still expiriences the problem would lead me to believe that the problem is not within G-Alarm but I will still look into that reg edit.....Thanks

I do have the option for "wm bug" checked and fixed but the problem still persists

I have not yet put G Alarm on my new phone but I found the registry entry on my old phone. To disable wakeup go to HKCU/Software/ageye/Galarm/ and turn midnight wakeup value to zero or False depending on which version you have. Hope this helps.

odd, i thought i was the only one with this issue... Mine turns on at midnight as well. Stock mighty rom, no additional programs with the exception of Google maps...
