So use the Rhodium Keyboard Controller and map them to something more useful :dontknow: Personally I don't have a windows key on my keyboard...different carriers.

I'm so used to it from TP1 now that I don't mind. But I used to really like the Mogul's Comm Manager button. I liked the camera button at the time but now I'm glad it's gone. I just got the Rhodium Keyboard Controller tonight and I already starting to make the keys more useful.

Re: tp2 hard keys

There has been a steady decline in the number of hard keys on my last few HTC devices, as well as a general movement toward using the touchscreen as opposed to hard keys for navigating. That's nice and all but my right thumb isn't long enough to reach every part of the screen, which means I have the maneuver around and fumble the device a bit to get things done.

I need my hard keys pretty bad and I quickly decided to make all the default keys work as normal ONLY when double-tapped. Single tapping and holding have different functions, mainly for vertical scrolling (Talk and Windows), left arrow (<-, great for easy navigation in Total Commander), and minimize (End key). The power button can also be remapped (suspend, turn screen off, soft reset, power manegement, etc..)

I suggest everyone install Rhodium Keyboard Controller and just play around to see what best fits your day-to-day needs.

personally I use the back key all the time its mapped to be quite useful as is, were end takes you all the way back home, back takes you back by only one screen and will go back a page in opera (at least on stock) but really just remap it if you don't use it. I was more pissed by the lack of ctrl and tab keys on the keyboard this time around.

I believe it is a requirement that all WM 6.5 devices have a windows button
