Cab file for twitter tab in Sense UI
 

I'm using a ROM that's made to be as stripped down and as close as possible to the default HTC ROM. I really like the ROM, but would really like to have the built in twitter client you see on other ROMs that have their own tab. Is there a cab file I can get somewhere to install this?

Edit: In further searching the program is called Peep, but I haven't found the cab file yet.

Yep, what you speak of is a Sense 2.5 feature, hasn't been ported to 2.1.

I wouldn't say impossible. Several tabs from 2.5 have been ported to 2.1. This one just hasn't been done yet. Although the ones done so far (email, calendar) are new versions of existing tabs. I'm not sure about porting a new tab.

But I'm also not sure if the porting effort will start to lose momentum now that the Topaz version of 2.5 is out. It seems pretty solid. I think the reasons for avoiding 2.5 may be dwindling.
