ok... so i did this reg edit that makes the Roaming only/Automatic B option appear under network options and i cant seem to get evdo when i select roaming only. i am currently at a friends house where there is no sprint service at all. so when i select Automatic A, it automatically roams and gets evdo. when i select roaming only/automatic b, it only gets 1x. how do i solve this problem? when i am home, i only get sprint 1x, so i would really like to roam and use evdo at home. i know that verizon has evdo in my home area, but like i said, my fone gets stuck on 1x when i select roam only... anyone know a solution to this problem? this is the reg edit i did to make roaming only/automatic b appear: For Three Menus in Roaming 1st For Home Network 2nd For Home + Partner Networks 3rd For only Partner Networks HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\NetworkService ItemCount=dword 00000003 ItemName3=Roaming Only/Automatic B ItemValue3=dword 00000005 Then Edit HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\InitProv\PhoneSetting ServiceName=Network Service ItemCount=dword 00000003 ItemName3=Roaming Only/Automatic B ItemValue3=dword 00000005 After making those changes, roaming only is now an option under network services but why am i not getting any evdo? |
