Device AUTO ROTATE (all screens) TP2 6.5 M2.5
 

Can someone create a cab to run on M2.5 that will make the device autorotate on ALL screens and in all programs, no exceptions. I essentially want my Touch Pro 2 to work as if it didn't have the keyboard and auto-rotate (and when I want to I can slide out the keyboard).

Is there a way someone can do this for 2.5 (I had Max Manila before, but the new 2/4 Energy 2011 builds can't support it), and honestly if I can get the auto-rotation, I might stay away from MAX cause this new build is running like a champ.

Have you tried gyrator?

Worked with a 6.5 build on my diamond.
You can set it to autorotate in all apps.

Is there a way to get a help file on it?


Also, is there a way to get it off the active programs list so it always runs in the background?

if u click on the little wrench icon in the task manager it will bring u 2 the settings. make the program "exclusive" i think

I used to use gyrator. Prefer the bsb gconfig now. it is similar, but doesn't run in the background. it changes the autorotate settings.

What is gconfig and how does it work? I really would like to open my phone up to auto rotate on all apps. Seems that Sprint removed some really nice features from their version of the phone. I'm not a developer, just someone who wants my phone to do the things that it is actually capable of doing.

I also read that some of these phones actually have the dual camera for front-facing photo's and video conferencing. I guess that was not added either. Does anyone know if the Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 Rom has this feature hidden or did they just not put it on this phone's ROM?

Do you have a camera lens on the front of your TP2? How would a ROM enable or disable that?

None of the US phones have the front Camera that I know of, I believe only the one's outside the US do.

I know. I was trying to point out to BeauGManIII that the lack of a hardware feature could not possibly be related to a "hidden" or missing ROM setting.

Not for long... The EVO is dropping @ Sprint in a few weeks and we're gonna be front face camera pimpin..!!
