Very loud notifications (SMS, Voicemail) while on a call
 

I just got through searching all 92 pages over at the Touch Pro 2 Tweaks, Hacks, Tips & Modifications thread and didn't find anything about this.

When I'm on a call, and a SMS or Voicemail comes in, the notification is so loud I can't hear the other party and it hurts my ear. The phone is usually on vibrate, so I don't even have the sound on. I can't remember if this happens when the phone is on silent, or just on vibrate.

Anyone know of a way to fix this and either get rid of the notification while on a call completely or just make it quieter?

Settings/Sounds & Notifications/Notifications: select the event from the drop down list, then Un-check the box that says 'play sound'

^Doesnt that turn off the sound completely???

I asked the same question about a week ago and never got an answer. Still looking myself. I want the sound on, just not when im on the phone! I wouldnt mind a beep, but my sound is a ring tone...

I have it set to no sound. I have the settings for vibrate only. Yet, when I'm on a phone call, the notification is a loud sound every time.
