3sixty.2 program on Touch Pro2

Hey fellas, i recently ran into a problem when trying to install a software onto my TP2. The program worked fine on my TP. Im running the latest energyrom on the TP2. The program installs fine but when i open the program, a prompt on the screen says "The program will now close". This really frustrates me and i dont know how to fix it. Not sure if its compatible with the TP2 but i dont see why not.

heres a link to the program im trying to install http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status=

its a program for my audio system in my car. like i said this program worked flawlessly on a custom rom i had on my TP not sure what the problem is with the TP2

I don't remember the name of the app but there's one out there that changes the resolution of the screen to work with older apps. You might try that. Search around...I'm sure you will find it here.

Yeah, I had been thinking about getting the 3sixty.2 for my but have held off because Rockford doesn't ever update their stuff. I don't want to have to drag my laptop out to my vehicle to mess with the crossover settings.

well i came across some info from a forum, and they stated something about the resolution not matching up to run the program.

I then installed a program to change the resolution for the program, it still doesnt work

My bet is someone could get it to work, especially if it worked on the TP1. However, you need the help of someone far more experienced than I, wish I could help.

I think the app you are looking for is WVGAfix2... what it does it lets you switch frm WVGA to vga screen mode so that apps that worked on Touch Pro1 can be on Touch Pro2.

Re: 3sixty.2 program on Touch Pro2

I don't think that the screen resolution has anything to do with it.

I know that the 3Sixty.2 App worked on the HTC Touch, but that is because it had the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. Here are the requirements for the 3Sixty.2 App from Rockfords site:

In order to use the 3Sixty Windows Mobile software, you must meet the following requirements:
• .NET Compact Framework 2.0 or newer
• Display Resolution of 320x240 (QVGA) or 640x480 (VGA)
• Microsoft Bluetooth Stack

I don't think the HTC Touch Pro 2 uses the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack. I am unsure which one it uses exactly but remember seeing somewhere it wasn't by Microsoft.

This is the error I am getting when I run the App (after pressing details):
3Sixty.2.exe
TypeLoadException

at MyProect.Discover.PopulateList()
at MyProect.Discover..ctor()
at MyProect.Discover.Main()

Not really sure if this will help in getting this to work on the Touch Pro 2.

It's not a huge pain lugging my laptop out to my car, or I can use my old decommissioned Touch. It would be nice to have all my apps running from my current phone though!
