Android Notification Bar for WinMo
 

I was playing around with my friend's droid, and even though I still like my TP2 more I noticed one feature that was really cool. Anytime he got a text / missed call, there was a notification bar at the top that you could drag down. It offered previews of text messages which you could read directly. I found this very useful if I was on the internet or on an app, you could just preview the message, see if you want to read it, then drag the notification bar back to the top of the screen and stay on the internet / using the app. I added a picture in case anyone was confused as to what I'm referring to.

Is there any cab / way to port this to work for a windows phone or am I dreaming?

this is definitely one of the features that I'd want to see on winmo.

i am keeping my fingers crossed for native notification bar along with googletalk interface.

wow, thats awesome. this is one feature of android i liked as well. is there any way that we could get a separate cab once it becomes available for maxsense ui. i use titanium but would love to have this feature

EDIT: ok when you said max sense i automatically assumed max manila in my head. i just realized max sense is a whole new ui. i saw the thread over at xda and the vid on youtube. this ui looks like it is going to be sick! can't wait, especially if it has that taskbar feature, haha

The feature I would really like to see is when you get a message in android the taskbar flashes the first couple of words across the top. Its just a few seconds and then it goes back to the taskbar but thats so cool, its great for just reading those "Ok" or "Sure" messages without stopping what your doing....... I WANT IT SOOOO BAD!
