Biggest thing i hate about the TP2 - SCROLLING with the touchsceen BLOWS
 

i love the phone, but the one thing i hate is having to use the touchscreen to scroll. there is no button you can use for down to move down the screen. i liked using the wheel on the side with the mogul to do that, then with the touch pro you could use the down button at least. now its all touch screen and its really hard for me to get used to.

the cab to use the zoom bar to scroll just doesn't work well.

is there ANY way possible to assign the volume up and down buttons to scroll through emails or on web pages? then to make the volume buttons if held in control volume?

this touch screen is not at the level it needs to be to only use the touch screen to scroll on the inernet or through emails. having an ipod touch the scrolling via touch screen is night and day. i just hate using the touch screen for everything.

RhodiumKeyboardController is your best friend in this case. You can do exactly what you speak of, I believe.

i also was looking for such a cab a while back & another member was kind enough to supply this DL for it ..... i didnt care for it much after trial & error ..... to each his own tho ...... my down arrow works fine for me to scroll pages but i frequent alot of mobile versions of sites & it just hops from link to link makin it a breeze ... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...6&d=1263348644

thanks for the cab. i like this.... but now, how do you actually control volume? holding in the arrows isn't doing anything.

your welcome ... i dont remember how i found this initially but . . . http://beemer.sesma.eu/en/voldpad.htm ... i probably googled the designer idk .. anyway there it is .......... i put a shortcut in my start menu (stock rom sprint tp2) for ease of turning it on & off for the 1 or 2 days i even fiddled with it .. just a little thought for ya

the volume controls work regularly when in call so thats all that matters i think.
