Put a SIM card in? AFAIK thats the only way. Call Sprint, tell them you got a replacement phone(Im assuming thats why you dont have a SIM) and it didnt come with 1

yeah i know what you mean! im on telus and when i load a custom task bar i get that all the time! I just downloaded mightymikes stock signal cab and then you can get your signal bars back, although its stock look just for the signal.

Try this regedit:

HKLM\Security\SIM\SimPresent change to a 1...
or 0 if its already a 1
