Unlock TP2 from SD card for free?

Users,

Is there a way I can unlock my tp2 for free by simply using my SD card? I've searched the site for unlockers and the most of the threads are far from good tutorials.:angry7:

the hard hspl unlocking (for flashing custom roms) is free, the sim unlock (for using gsm while in the united states) cost money.

they are actually good tutorials if you follow each step. These instructions from Cmonex for hard spl are step-by-step, I don't know how it can get much simpler than that.
