MMS error

I get the following error when trying to send a MMS. HTTP: Send GET Request Failed.
This is on a verizon tp2 with stock 6.5 rom. Any solutions? I didnt see anyone else with the problem.

Does everything else work normally? i.e. you can send/receive emails? surf the web on your phone? etc, with no issues?

Re: MMS error

As stated earlier i am suing the stock 6.5 rom and yes surfing the web is fine. I do not use email on my phone.

Found this link when searching google :

( I can't post direct links due to post count yet, so copy paste the above)

But in that scenario it looked like the wifi setting was enabled and was preventing the message from sending. (although that specific scenario was also related to picture messaging)

Do you have wifi enabled? if so can you test by turning it off and attempting to re-send?

I am on a custom ROM, but have always been able to receive pictures.. until today.

Don't know what caused this.

Re: MMS error

I have been having this problem ever since 6.5 I think. I rarely send mms. It did work on my 6.1 rom so I assume it is an issue with 6.5

I know it isn't everyone having the problem but I was thinking it was some squirk I had done.

Re: MMS error

sorry, don't really know what else to try other than a hard reset?

Re: MMS error

that isn't an option so I am looking for other advice.

Re: MMS error

Thast error msg is due to improperly configured mms. If your on stock.. did you change up your stuff???

Re: MMS error

No it is the stock configuration. But if anyone could export their stock 6.5 mms registry settings so I can compare it would be appreciated.

Re: MMS error

Make sure you check your MMS settings, mainly the CDMA server.

I installed the "Verizon" 6.5 update, and I couldn't send MMS. I went digging through menu's and found that my CDMA server was set to Sprint, instead of Verizon.

I set Verizon as default, and haven't had a problem since!

Where was the cdma server setting?

Sorry for the delay, I don't check this forum often.

Go into your SMS tab.

Select "All Messages" at the bottom.

Select "Menu" at the bottom.

Scroll down to and select "Pics/video Options"

Select "CDMA Servers" tab at the bottom.

Make sure Verizon is set as the default.
