Track down battery/data hogs?
Hi there! I flashed to the Energy Rom Phoenix 2 about a month ago, and even before that I've been having battery issues. I get about 8-10 hours before I have to charge with light usage.
I suspect that one of my programs are connecting to the internet alot, or at least not disconnecting. Is there any way to track what programs connect to my data plan and log how often and for how long? Same with CPU usage...if it doesn't turn out to be a data issue, maybe I might be able to figure out what is causing the battery drain by looking at a log of high CPU activity. Thanks for any help or advice on this problem! Mike |

Re: Track down battery/data hogs?
Lately I've searching for this too & it appears to always lead back to the various programs leaving the network connected.
Therefore I have tracked down the cab that automatically forces the net to disconnect within 60 secs of program close: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...51#post1538251 |
