PS3 Wont Charge My TP2?
 

I tried this a while ago on the stock verizon 6.1 rom and it would never charge my phone. Initially when i hooked the usb cord into the ps3 then into my phone to charge the orange charging light would come on but after say 5-10 mins if i would remove the phone the orange light would be stuck on the phone and it wouldnt power on it would require a battery pull.


and after all that if i go to check the battery life afterwards it would be the same as it was before i connected them. I've charging charging with the phone off, phone on and still the same results. anybody know why this happens? i havent tried it with any 6.5 roms at the moment but i know this was a issue just was wondering what gives?

Well I dont have a ps3, but I can tell you that I use the usb port on the front of my directv receiver, and it charges it just fine, no issues with lights getting stuck or anything..

I've also had this problem when using my PS3 to charge my TP2. It shows that it's charging but it's really not. It's weird because I used to charge my TP1 from my PS3 all the time, not sure what changed.

i just tested Mighy Rom 6.5 and it works it fully charged my tp2 after i left it on overnight. So im wondering was that a stock rom/6.1 bug it seems to be resolved on mighty rom/winmo6.5

I had this issue. I got a message my my phone that said something about it not it not being charged while it was plugged in. I didn't really look into it as there are several other alternatives to charge my phone. So its not just you.
