im trying to increase the sending limit in arcsoft mms on my sprint touch pro 2 with stock rom. i tried doing the following reg edit and it didnt work, still says limit is 1000k...

Change size limit for sending files
HKLM\Software\ARcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\ Config\UI\Size Limit\
change "sizelimit" to 7124000 to get about a 7MB limit

i tried that and it doesnt work, it still has a limit of 1000k so how did you guys change your sending limit?

At that registry key, there should be several keys (3 of them) that give you size limit options. They should be DWORD values for 'Wap1SendLimit1', 'Wap1SnedLimit2', and 'Wap1SendLimit3'. Just so you know though, carriers will probably not allow a 7MB MMS message through. Your phone may send it, but I think the biggest you'll likely be able to send successfully is probably 5MB, probably less though.

5mb is fine... i only see 1 & 2, not 3. i changed 1&2 to 7mb but when i try and send a pic mail, it still shows 1000k limit and when i try and send it says sending limit exceeded... so what do i need to do? add sending limit 3 and thats all? or after i change it in the registry is there something else i have to do? and how do i change this for videos also? thanks

i believe you are right. this makes sense, but why do people insist on making arcsoft cabs that have a send limit of 10mbs? seems kinda pointless??

thanks, but im trying to keep from installing alot of cabs. i used to install alot of cabs on my mogul and tp1 and i eventually realized they only caused freezing and restarting issues w/my phone. anyone know exactly what registry changes to make?

Try to make the following changes:

If you convert the values above to decimal, they should be 5000k

i went to

and didnt see defaultsize. i saw wap1sendlimit1 (or some like that) and changed it to what you said and still no luck :(

op, i got a friggin ton of cabs on both my tp2s and never have freezing issues, never even herd of your reasoning, your call, the cab works though.

yep. ive used that cab. it does the trick. my gf runs stock and has like 115 cabs installed and to be honest it runs a lil better than my flashed rom.

Probably because that isn't where those keys are located. May want to re-read the registry keys that are being changed...

Ahh u r so right lol. well from m.ppcgeeks it didnt show the Code so i just figured u were talking about where i first went to... well you pointed me in the right direction but when i entered 40e2000 it then showed a limit of 1k lol... so i put in 5120000 and now have a 4.9mb limit! thanks dude :)

so this is how you change the MMS sending limit through the registry. jus navigate to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\SampleMMSC]
"WAP1SendDefaultSize & WAP2SendDefaultSize"

change the values to whatever youd like. i entered 5120000 and increased my limit to around 5mb instead of sprints stock limit of 1mb.
