Anyone know of or have this app?

I am not sure if there IS a GV app for the TP2. However, the mobile site http://m.google.com/voice is functional on my VZW TP2 using IE. Not pretty, but functional.

Just request it and they will send you an email response within a few weeks. I have mine and my fiance just got her google number. I really don't use mine too much. By the way, you have the option to use your existing number or get a google number. I should have used my existing number but the google number had more options.

I use idialer and icontact. on my phone it uses your contacts to have google voice call you back and then call him. you know how google voice works.

i have attached both cabs for idialer and icontact

+1 for MagicCall

I've used it for months and other than the high price, I've got no complaints. Once set up it works flawlessly. I have my "friends and family" numbers dial direct and it will dial everything else using my GV number. I've even setup a bypass for 611/911 so they dial directly using my mobile number. 411 dials directly to GV and puts me directly into Goog411.

Sweet!

I used iDialer, iContact, and Green Button. I struggled to set it up but once I got it working it worked pretty well.

Yep, after trying other solutions, this is definitely the best way to go.

I always install:

iDialer, iDialer-config, iContact, Greenbutton, and the blue iPhone skin.

Doesn't really get any better or more convenient (post-install) than that.

+1 on gVo - 10 second setup(just put in you GV number and pin), never had any problem, works amazing and smooth

MagiCall is very nice. I got it free through TrialPay. Just go to Magicall's site and navigate away. A Trialpay window will pop up offering Magicall for free. I chose to sign up for Netflix, which I was going to do anyway. I got my Magicall license in 24 hours. The first 2 weeks of Netflix is free and I can cancel any time. Seriously -- I can can cancel. I'm sure I can. I'm not addicted to movies! :)

Hi Guys.......New guy here....and not trying to hijack this thread but I have a quick question.

I currently have a Motorola i850 phone with nextel service. I have a google number and when someone leaves me a message it comes through split into several small messages. A real pain in the.......

So, I have had my eye on the tp2 for some time now and Verizon has free activation now. Will my message come through in several small chunks or in one message?

Thanks, MiPilot

It depends.

If you're having the voicemail texted to you via SMS, there's an absolute character limit. If the transcribed VM exceeds that limit, it'll be cut into chunks. If you're having it emailed to you, I've never hit a size limit on email on my TP2 (once I set the receive limit to the entire message rather than the default of 2KB).

Does google voice have a feature to send friends invites like gmail did or do you just get the one invite for your own phone and thats it?

I am trying to get one for my mother.

Actually, current Google Voice programs for WinMo use the callback method (and another one that I cant remember the name to). So you need a voice plan to access your GV number anyway. The android GV program uses wifi to make the call.

P.S. Sprint data comes with unlimited text. So GV will only be useful for minutes.

Does this replace the stock dialer and TF3D contact on the Sprint TP2? or is it simply a additional dialer that I can open when I want to make a google voice call?
