Wifi on latest mightyrom
 

I'm having problems with my wifi signal going on and off. Not sure if it is hardware or software. Just got my tp2 and flashed it out the box without testing if the wifi was working

is this a know issue that has a fix or is the hardware faulty?

When is it turning off? If it turns off when your device suspends (ie. screen goes off), that is normal for the PPCs I've used.

I wonder if Mighty pulled the wifi dll from the new 6.5 verizon rom. I currently have problems with wifi on my verizon 6.5 rom. Let me know what you find out.

WWifi goes on and of while I'm trying to connect. The signal will go from excellent to to nothing the whole time so I really don't get to use it. Going to flash back to stock and see what happens

try changed the power management to best performance, then soft reset. See if that clears it up. It is most likely a problem with the feature that automatically turns it on and off when it thinks you need it i.e. opening a browser after being suspended.

settings:wifi:advanced:power mode. Change this to best performance and soft reset. See if that clears it up. That setting should allow constant use of the wifi radio without interference from power management.
