On your phone go to
Windows\Opera9

open the opera.ini file with Word and change the value of
Maximum Tabs Allowed=
to 9

Is opera supposed to be able to play youtube links? I thought when you clicked on a youtube video it opened it automatically in media player. Now mine just says install flash.

This .cab will get flash going in your opera browser (Flash 8 or lower).

You can try my .cab for opera tweaks, gives you 9 tabs + other tweaks:

Does your tweaks add the search bar that appears when you click on the address bar?

Well that should be there by default. Are you using stock?

The .cab will only install to the stock Windows/opera9 folder. If your opera folder is not located there you need to use the raw opera.ini file in my thread and copy to wherever your opera folder is located to overwrite your current opera.config file. It wont affect the function of your search box though.
