with some sites i prefer the mobile version - google reader, pron sites, etc. but with most others sites i prefer the full version.

it's all preference. i'm a bit envious that you can enjoy the mobile sites and i seem not to be able to. that way engadget would load near immediately.

i do subscribe to engadget's rss feed but when i want to go to the site to read comments it's a pain.

Okay I own a TP2, Droid Eris, and a Moto Droid. Android is okay at best yeah they have tons of apps but 90% are useless if you want to have a bunch of garbage little kid apps or strobe lights , fake cracked screen, fart sounds, cartoon themes, IPhone wannabe then yes Android is for you . I like my TP2 way better than my crappy Android phones . Now my next phone will it be a HD2 or Nexus One well that is a no brainer I want a machine so I will get a HD2 if I wanted a toy I would have got an IPhone. I have tried Android and imo I think it sucks .

this is a retarded statement. correct the android does give you extras that you probably don't need, but trust me alot of them are very helpful (ie: pandora app, google goggles, google sky, nba gametime ( i love the nba), this list could go on forever, but thats not my point. There is nothing you can do on the tp2 easier than you can with ANY droid. Like i said the only advantages of winmo 6.anything is word, excel, and powerpoint and if you're not using those android does everything else better then winmo, faster then winmo, and it looks nicer then winmo. I'm not saying the droids do more but they make the samethings just look better and faster even if it isn't a nexus. The fact that anybody keeps comparing winmo6 to the android os is just deceiving themselves and need to get with the times. if winmo 6 was so great we wouldn't all be waiting for winmo 7 so please stop pretending winmo 6 is even close to the android os. my girls hero works faster and has better web browsing then my tp2, my tp2 is now a paper weight.

Preach on P-Slim. The whole point of having people Hard SPL their phones and install ROMS like Mighty and Energy is because WinMo sucks so bad. Even HTC Sense was made just to hide WinMO's ugliness. All I can say, is I can't wait for my Nexus to arrive. So how do you like yours so far? This is my last weekend with the TP2 and off to ebay it goes.

yeah man don't listen to the hype, i have had no 3g problems whatsoever with my phone. as long as the tmobile coverage map says you get good service in your area you will be fine. as the title of this thread states the webbrowsing on the nexus is obviously 10x better because it has a snapdragon processor man but trust me, its not only that faster but its better in all regards. $ isn't the issue and i was head strong about getting the hd2 but i don't even think i will pick up the hd2 till it gets is winmo 7 update.

By the time WinMo7 hits, they'll probably be Android 3.0 or 4.0 so no big deal anymore. Don't expect Google to lay down like M$ has for the last decade.

When All the hype is settled, I think the iphone will still top the nexus one. That's it's direct competitor, not really competitor of the TP2.

correct, iphone is nexus' direct competitor because winmo 6 is a joke. once winmo 7 comes windows will be able to compete. Also you're wrong about the iphone, unfortunately the iphone is only 1 phone, android has mulitiple phones and platforms that run on android so therefore i'm pretty sure the android os will be in more peoples hands soon. I'm not comparing phones, i'm comparing os'

Anyone that want a real phone ditch your tp2 and get a snapdragon regardless of the OS... personally though having both winmo is behind.....
