Ready to flash, what's the real difference between 2.1 and 2.5?
I want to flash, but I would really like to know is what is the real difference between 2.1 and 2.5? I notice the quick programs list on the home page, but what else? I know alot of people have moved up to 6.5 for a reason, but what is it? Also, what is the consensus best rom out? I tried might rom on my tp1 when I had it, it became sluggish and had it lock ups. So what is the number 1 custom rom?

1. Weather Animations 2. Shortcuts on Home screen. 3 Twitter Tab Just some of the reasons. I believe there is a 2.1 with the weather on the Home tab but I don't believe it has full animations. Just my 2 cents. |
Re: Ready to flash, what's the real difference between 2.1 and 2.5?
if your new to flashing, i would flash 2.1 rom imo. 2.5 has more eyecandy but for speed i still like 2.1. 2.5 has lots of cool features and shotcuts on homescreen is nice but for overall speed and less buggs i like 2.1. try them both, simple to flash both and run each for aday.

Just forget Manila all together and go for a solid 6.5 ROM with SPB Mobile Shell -- um, this one looks nice:
