Re: Noobie here
i recomend seeing this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=105161 for verizon 6.5 update
and this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=102603 for getting android to boot off your card. theyre coming along way on the second. you can opt to dual boot at start up to either winmo ar android, although android isnt fully functional yet. see here for more info on dual boot. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623792 |
Re: Noobie here
You can download the WinMo 6.5 update for Verizon (stock) HERE. Make sure you have your device connected and detected through ActiveSync(winxp) or Windows Mobile Device Center (vista/win7). Then run the .EXE and it will guide you through.

Re: Noobie here
Oh do i need to back up anything specific besides contacts before i upgrade?
|
Re: Noobie here
do you already have back up software? if not try using microsoft myphone. it will back up any thing pertinant to you, including contacts texts call history and any pictures saved to your device. its simple and free. there are better apps out there, but this works just fine. and over the air. you dont have to plug in or save it to your card. its saved on a microsoft website.
