Touch Pro 2 standard keyboard
I'm looking to get / enable the original windows mobile standard keyboard. I'm running the current version of 7PPC's rom on my Touch Pro 2 and I really like it. I've spoken to the guy that created the rom and he doesn't have the cab or the files to put it into his kitchen. Can anyone help me enable the original keyboard or have a .cab for it that I can install it. I don't want to use another program to create shortcut keys or anything like that I just want the old keyboard that has the shift and cntrl keys on the keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Re: Touch Pro 2 standard keyboard
I'm in the same boat. But I actually have 2 phones. I only flashed 1 to MightyROM. The other phone has the original Verizon WM 6.0 ROM. If someone knows what file contains the original virtual keyboard, I can get it off my phone. I hope it's that simple, but I doubt it.

Re: Touch Pro 2 standard keyboard
I believe that if you make the following registry entries the default keyboard will become selectable.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ezsip] "SIPMenuEnableMSSIP"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42429667-ae04-11d0-a4f8-00aa00a749b9}\IsSIPInputMethod] "Default"="1" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ezsip] "IME_Ezinput_Western_version"="20091117-00" |
