2016 patch on cooked rom?

will it brick my device if im using a custom rom if i download the patch directly from HTC's website? i also dont want to hardreset my device?? thanks!

it should work fine and shouldnt brick ur device! i assume the cab just over write some dll files to correct the issue! i have never had this issue but alot of sprint customers are!!

wouldnt install for me. said wrong rom version. it will look for stock 1.21. so good luck on that working. i used ziggys again.

have you tried to cook in ziggy's into one of your custom roms?

MOST custom rom already comes with the 2016 fix... find out before installing a htc fix becuz it WILL mess up your phone... i always say better be safe then sorry!
