Opera 10 b2 shows 1.5 mb memory usage, but 30 megs dissapear
 

Did anyone notice when you run Opera 10 b2u the amount of free memory drops by 30 megs? But task manager only shows it using 1.5 megs.

I gave up on it Opera 10 and just using the built in Opera 9.5 and skyfire 1.5, you really don't need Opera 10, its slow, whats the point of it.

I'm the opposite I've been using Opera 10 since it came out and stopped using 9.5 and 9.7. Opera 10 seems much more faster to me and the scrolling is much better.

i know for me opera 10 is a pig! dunno if its my rom or what but i hogs memory. usually i use opera mini 5 beta 2, got some weird quirks but is more than worth it for the speed it offers.

Compare your free memory before and after running the app.

The 30 megs of memory just disappears.

tried the comparison you mentioned. before running Opera 10, i had 94 megs. while the app was running, it went down to 67 megs. but when i closed the app, i went back up to 94 megs.
