SMS "preceding message has been modified"
Okay, this has happened to me on all roms and even stock rom as well as with the 6800 - so definitely no a mighty issue. Does anyone know why if someone sends a multiple page text (the other person is also only on VZW as well as I am too) , the last message is "Preceding msg modified, media objects were removed"???? And how do I get rid of it because it is really annoying?!

You know what's even more annoying? Italicized text for no apparent reason. And what's more annoying yet? Blue text. And the MOST annoying thing? Comic Sans!

OK, back to topic. I get this same msg when someone sends me a text with colored or bolded font. I assumed this is some 'enhanced SMS' service for the cool phones....

The 1st 3 posts are HILARIOUS to me!
But back to topic. To the OP, I have Sprint but my buddy on VZ said he had the same problem. I thinks he said it is a VZ thing. I will ask him and report back |

On Verizon here. Ive gotten this for a lonnngggg time. It's happens to me when people send multiple texts that are strung together (more than 160 characters)
