Can't connect with QPST or CDMA Workshop
 

Not sure why I can't. I'm running WIN 7. I might have the wrong driver for the phone but neither program will work. On CDMA workshop it will connect but when I go to read it will say failed phone does not answer. Yes I also have the phone in the Diag. ##3424.

I do not have much experience with windows 7, but my tp2 is detected just fine in vista and xp in DIAG mode. It could be your OS, also try using another USB cable.

Thanks for the info. I did try both with no luck. I've done other flashing with Win 7 without a problem so I still think it's a driver issue. I also tried my xp system but I only have QPST on it and it might not be the newest version.

You don't need the newest version, your drivers are the biggest factor aside from a functioning phone and a USB cable thats working right and proper.

go to houdinisoft.com and then go to downloads, it will be there.

Hey guys,

I have a tp2 running mighty rom 5/1/2010 I cant get my widnows xp & vista computes to recognize the phone in CDMA WS/ QXDM/ QPST. I searched for drives and installed a few different drivers but its stil a no go.

Yesterday I got CDMA WS to connect to my phone but when I tried to have it read my msl it would not work. Any ideas?

this is what u need

krohnjw TP2 MSL Grabber 0.5

will tell you your msl and you use QPST to change your MSL once its in DIAG mode

because you need to have it in diagnostic mode with this driver's installed, I've done it dozen's of times with no problems.

Still does not work. I am now getting an error with the Qcomm port/ com driver. QXDM says disconnected at the top.
