PIM Backup question
 

Hi guys, is there a way to view text message from PIM back up on my computer or do I have to load it to my phone and read them that way?

Have you tried opening the file in notepad?

I recall reading somewhere that if you uncheck the binary mode option in backup and save your texts that you can open the file in notepad and view it.

Not sure though.

yeah... uncheck the binary mode and do the long backup... transfer the file to your desktop and then you open it in excel or notepad... I prefer excel because if you are looking for a particular text, you can do a search for it and it just seems easier to handle... just my two cents...
