I actually just got my replacement today.. No scratches,no wobble and it came with 6.1. Loaded 6.5 and all the extras and runs great. I did notice that it seemed a little more responsive than my old one. Ps the old one had the glitch where it only charged when connected to the pc.

Just got my replacement a month ago (first one the touch screen had stopped responding though reality is I think it was due to moisture. However my indicators were not tripped so I sent it in)

Second one I got was actually much better than my first one. Alot less dead pixels (instead of 20 I had like 2 with on being so far to the edge I didnt care) screen was tight and slide out was solid and it lined up with the rest of my phone.

They even sent the check list of the 100 point check that showed everything passed inspection though I think I got this list only cause I am an employee. Refurb or not as long as it works I really dont care. I do hear some of these horror stories though and it does scare me a bit that customers are receiving bad replacements from time to time...cool thing is that if its bad just send it right back and get another.

I've had a mixed bag. My first device unfortunately had dead pixels, so a replacement was quickly sent my way. Interestingly, this was within 3 days of launch, and they already had refurbs.

The 2nd and 3rd devices to hit my doorstep both had some significant scratches on the screen, and nicks on the device case. I sent them both back, with no trouble.

The 4th (well, 3rd replacement I suppose) was right on. It was pristine.

Bottom line - inspect the replacement device immediately and call right away if it's not acceptable to you.

I've gotten a diagnostic print out with each replacement. It's primarily focused on radio performance..but did list voltages and other critical test points.

I haven't had a warranty replacement from Verizon, but I did just receive an insurance replacement from Asurion. They sent me a brand new sealed-in-box VZW TP2 with all accessories. :D

My TP2 has the oily screen issue. It is starting to get anoying. Is this covered under warranty?

Also, how long is the warranty period?

HTC's warranty is 1 year from date of purchase.
