... I saw a .cab file on here that would make a plain white screen at full brightness to be used a a light.

Anyone recall where?

spoon torch is probably the best light app (st is the one that automatically puts the screen at max brightness, none of the others I tried did this)

I tried googling spoon torch like he recoomended and it didn't pull up the results we wanted. But googling spoontorch does. Thanks for your help though.

I'm not sure what it is myself Blowy, but I think its free. I'm going to google it and see what happens.
