Outgoing Mail Server...

Hi guys,

Firstly I am trying to setup my University Email Account. I have set it up as far as recieving email but cannot send them. I was told to use my SP outgoing mail server which was told by orange: smtp.co.uk

I get an error message when trying to send emails but recieve mail fine. So the problem is my outgoing mail server is not working.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Your university should have outgoing mail settings that you can use. You might double-check with a help-desk or somethin to verify. What's your university's website? Maybe those settings are buried somewhere on the site..
