From what I can tell, if it is a PC-only install, you have no choice, you have to reinstall using the desktop installer. My firm has client software we use that is done via a complex desktop installer, and it can only be done from the desktop, even though it installs entirely to storage card as default preference.

Is there a good way to backup programs installed to the SD card on my TP2 before I flash it. I have like 2 dozen medical programs that take forever to install every time I flash my phone. Is there an easy way to just recover them in windows (since they're truly installed to the SD cards)?

Generally I just use outlook to backup my contacts and use a folder full of tweaks for installs, but my programs take forever (tons of Skyscape programs, IGuidance, Epocrates ect.)

Thanks in advance!!

Hi.... I have many programs installed to my SD as well... What I do on many of them is to create/paste a shortcut to /Windows/Start Menu/Programs ..... If you use Sashimi, there are a few different ways to do this. I personally just copy my device Windows folder to the root folder within Sashimi (Auto). It must contain the Exact folder structure for it to work. Once I flash and run Sashimi, I have all the shortcuts in my program folder just as though I had re-installed them. It's useful that way so I don't have to re-organize the icons in the correct folders in my Start Menu....

I would read into Sashimi. It takes a bit to set it up ](*,) , but so nice once you do.... PM one of us if you need help with it.

Good Luck!!
